Adventure With A Purpose
Helping dogs and their humans build more connected lives through adventure, enrichment, and relationship-based training.
Who Is This For?
Dogs who benefit most from our work often need more than a walk, and don’t necessarily need more training.
This includes dogs who are:
Reactive or easily overwhelmed
Anxious, fearful, or lacking confidence
Overexcited, high-energy, or difficult to settle
Struggling with leash skills or frustration on walks
Adolescent dogs learning how to navigate the world
Dogs who need more enrichment, structure, and real-world experience
Puppies 4 months or older, learning to be well-rounded canine citizens
If your dog finds everyday life challenging, or you want to provide more meaningful outlets beyond traditional walks or daycare, you're in the right place!
Your Dog Doesn’t Need More Obedience Training. They Need More Opportunities To Be A Dog.
Many of the challenges we see in our dogs — reactivity, overexcitement, pulling on leash, difficulty settling, anxiety, or poor focus — aren't just training problems. They're often a sign that a dog's physical, emotional, social, or enrichment needs aren't being fully met.
Dogs need opportunities to explore, sniff, move their bodies, build confidence, make choices, and engage with the world around them. When those needs are met, learning becomes easier, behavior becomes more sustainable, and both ends of the leash benefit.
At Adventure Dog RI, we combine adventure, enrichment, and relationship-based training to help dogs build the skills they need to thrive in everyday life.
